Impact of Transgender in the Mission of Armed Forces
The United States military is among those that have lifted the ban on transgender members serving. In their qualitative study, Ender et al. (2017) explored the work experiences of transgender individuals in cadet and military faculty. They investigated their perceptions about the effect of transgender personalities on good order and discipline at the U.S military and Army at large. Further, they examined the perceived perceptions of respondents on how the cadets might reason on how they transgender personnel can impact good order and discipline in the marked forces. The results of their study indicated that provision of sensible education and training is essential in overcoming misinformation and in the leading movement towards a healthy and effective unity (Ender et al. 2017). Their conclusion echoes the significance of education that could embrace some practical considerations because the approach of education enhances humanization of transgender individuals more than training.
