The future of transgender military personnel
According to Woodward & Duncanson (2017), the critical background of conversation regarding the transgender military service is the gender issue. Mostly, militaries tend to be gendered organizations. Investigation and circumstantial explanations provide reliable support for the claim that each organizational structure is reliant on gender as either male or female. It is impossible to determine the number of countries allowing transgender military employees to serve in the present day. Many transgender service people are rarely published. Woodward & Duncanson (2017) further notes that 18 countries permit transgender military service. The future of transgender military personnel remains uncertain irrespective of the recommendation from a Secretary of Defense that they are allowed to serve (Burns, 2018). It shows that the careers of transgender military personnel are in the nation are insecure.
